If you stream everything, having dozens of different bills that come in at all different times of the month is probably making your head spin. At least with a traditional corded cable bill, everything came due at the same time! Many streaming services are considered to be competitors, so the majority of streaming bills will need to be paid individually. There is, of course, one exception.
Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ can be bundled together into one flat rate. This bundle is perfect for families, as there’s something for everyone on each network and a cumulative wealth of content between all three libraries. Simplify your cord cutting and wrap the three together.
What Does it Cost, and What Will I Save?
Rounded up to the nearest dollar, ad supported Hulu is $6 a month, Disney+ is $7 a month, and ESPN+ is $5 a month. Separate subscriptions would total $18, but the bundle costs $13 a month ($12.99 to be exact), essentially equating to a savings of $5 per month. Another way to view the scenario is that, in its equivalence, you’re getting ESPN+ for free. If you use all 3 services, the savings and convenience are undoubtedly worth it.
Starting with the Bundle
If you don’t currently use any of the services, Disney+ has a landing page to allow you to begin with the bundle here. Just follow the signup instructions. You will first create an account for Disney+ and ESPN+. After that process is completed, the steps will lead you to create a Hulu account. The accounts will technically be different, but the bundle billing will remain the same.
Upgrading from One Service
If you already have one of the services, you’ll have an option to upgrade to the bundle.
Upgrade Through Disney+
Start by signing in to Disney+. Then, visit https://www.disneyplus.com/upgrade and follow the steps.
From ESPN+ or Hulu
If you currently have ESPN+ or Hulu, simply go to the Disney+ website, click the bundle option, and sign up with the same information you used for those accounts. Bundling is simple an automated. You just need to follow the prompts.
Cutting the Cord
Cutting the cord, or switching away from traditional cable, was designed to make things less expensive. Bundling is helping users keep costs down, staying true to the original philosophy of ditching major cable providers. Almost anything can be accessed online, and if you’re smart about your approach, you can save a fortune.
If you want to watch every piece of content from your streaming providers’ libraries, there’s always TorGuard VPN. Our VPN can circumvent region restrictions and content blocks that might get in your way. Access anything, anywhere, any time.
