OpenMediaVault is an open source feature rich network attached storage (NAS) solution build on top of Debian Linux. OMV provides instant access to services like SSH, (S)FTP, SMB/CIFS, DAAP media server, RSync, BitTorrent client and many more. Thanks to Debian’s package system OpenMediaVault can be customized with a wide range of plugins that are easy to install.

You don’t need to be a Linux guru to run a home or business OpenMediaVault file storage server. With seamless OS integration OMV works out-of-the-box and can adapt to a wide range of use case scenarios both large and small. PrivateRouter’s reverse proxy service enables access to an OpenMediaVault FTP server from anywhere in the world.

This mini server has a compact size that makes it easy to take with you anywhere. Powered by an Intel Celeron J3455 with speeds up to 2.3Ghz this box can meet and exceed the demands required when hosting a variety of web apps, like chat servers, file sharing, cloud backup, office tools, and public websites. With 8GB DDR3 RAM and 128GB SSD ROM it can process data quickly. This KAMRUI mini server is configured to use the on board gigabit ethernet adapter and comes with two onboard USB 3.0 ports and two additional USB ports, just in case you need more storage.
