Thanks to Debian’s package system OpenMediaVault can be customized with a wide range of plugins that are easy to install.

You don’t need to be a Linux guru to run a home or business OpenMediaVault file storage server. With seamless OS integration OMV works out-of-the-box and can adapt to a wide range of use case scenarios both large and small. PrivateRouter’s reverse proxy service enables access to an OpenMediaVault FTP server from anywhere in the world.
