If you would like to replace your old Wifi router or avoid making monthly payments from a leased Wifi Router rented out by your ISP then you should use your PrivateRouter as the only WiFi device in your network.

In a single router setup, the PrivateRouter will be wired directly to your cable or DSL modem via ethernet cable and will be the only Wifi router in the setup.

After plugging in all devices  power off your ISP modem and PrivateRouter then do the following:

• Power on your ISP modem and wait for it to fully boot up.
• Power on your PrivateRouter
• Connect to PrivateRouter Wifi, enter the default password “torguard” and browse to 192.168.8.1
