Wireless Freedom

Powered by OpenWRT

The OpenWrt Project is a Linux based operating system that can run on a variety of embedded devices. Stock router firmware provided by a vendor can severely limit your capabilities, while OpenWrt provides a fully accessible filesystem and package management system so you can customize your router to fit your exact use case. OpenWRT has a large list of open-source packages that you can browse through and install at any time. OpenWRT gives the user true wireless freedom so they can customize every aspect of their router without limitations. This is the equivalent of a router OS that comes with a powerful app store which provides your Wifi access point the ability to do things the original manufacturer never envisioned. Welcome to true wireless freedom with the power of open source router firmware OpenWRT.

TP-LINK’s TL-WDR3500 is a performance enhanced dual band wireless router combining the fast speeds of 300Mbps using a 5GHz band and 300Mbps using the conventional 2.4GHz band. With simultaneous dual band, users have 600Mbps of total bandwidth to power multiple bandwidth intensive applications at the same time making it an affordable solution for a large home or office setting. This router can easily accommodate multiple users browsing the web while simultaneously handling more latency sensitive tasks such as DIY web hosting or HD video.  USB 2.0 access makes this router capable of sharing flash storage, printers, ftp servers and media players, powering a robust local media network. We have pre-installed the latest version of OpenWRT software and loaded TorGuard VPN so you can activate full network encryption with just a few clicks.
